4 stars. The fourth book in Nesbo's Harry Hole series of thrillers was a long, but good read. Harry is called in on a murder at a bank. A robber kills a woman while robbing the ATM and Harry is assigned to the case, along with Beata Lonn. Beata has the rare ability to remember faces and her skills are needed to help Harry solve the crime and others that crop up along the way. The road to a solution is twisted and there are many possible suspects. Harry is involved with one of the people involved in the story, an ex-girlfriend who comes back into his life hoping for a reunion. Harry receives threatening emails and wonders if he was involved in crimes while in a blackout. I thought this was a well thought out and interesting read. I enjoyed it.
