I appreciate what they're going for, but this will never be my preferred type of storytelling. We see several short stories about the characters, woven together by Olive and Maps looking at a scrapbook/yearbook as the framing device. There is a lot of different artists and writers that are brought, and as much as I appreciate it the display of different talent, it is quite jarring and especially because I liked the two artists that worked on the first two volumes, I just end up missing them here. The last issue is the only one that really had a substantial plot. I was also disappointed by the lack of exploration into Calamity, I thought that there was great potential that was sorely missed. Nonetheless, I still thoroughly enjoyed it and had a lot of fun. 4/5 stars (3.75 would be more accurate), it was fun, but I wish we got an actually plot instead of filler.
