This is easily the worst Jack Reacher book. The setup is completely preposterous, basically like a Far Cry game that takes place in a small city. And the body count is through the roof. There's one scene at the end where he blows this guy away and I'm thinking "Huh? That guy wasn't all that bad." I kind of wonder if there was a ghost writer involved in this one because it's basically Reacher as psychopath. Oh, and lest I forget, he puts together a group of helpers - a waitress, two musicians, and a security guy - that are like a special ops team and don't even blink at all the violence, including when he cuts one guy's head off. This book is really terrible. Don't read it.
