This book is good for fans of action-packed dystopias with a thoughtful side. It's sort of a retelling of "The Whipping Boy" - a rich boy has a poor one that takes his punishments for him, in this case, up to 16 years in prison for a crime his "patron" committed. Examines issues of debt, poverty and forgiveness. I gave this book two stars because it isn't my cup of tea, but I can see how other people could like it.
