A con artist and seductress, Meredith Spooner lived fast and died young. Now her last embezzling scheme has returned to haunt Leonora Hutton, the friend in whom she had confided. As Leonora tries to clear up the mess, she stumbles upon an old, unsolved murder.
Definitely not the most exciting Krentz book out there. Interesting story line idea and plot but it just ended too abruptly for me. There was no buildup to resolving the plot. It felt like this book lacked closure, which was its main flaw.
