Picks up right where Fallen leaves off. This was a great read. A complex mix of crime, loss, romance and sex. I was pleased to read 'Criminal' and find that it picked up right where Fallen had left off.

It is a fairly good story. Slaughter is a bit obsessed with torture and I have wondered before if she spends most of her movie viewing time watching snuff-flicks and SM porn. The telling of the story is bogged down with details about everything--endless details that do not matter to the story at all, just Slaughter upping her word count. Many of the clues that are vital to the plot get lost in the endless rambling list of items in a room or the colors of carpet or the memories of the past that have nothing to do with the current story. This can be read as a stand alone, but it is far from the first story featuring these characters. (Will Trent #5)

Police & FBI work together to solve a vicious kidnapping. Recommended by the Washington Post as one of the Best Books of 2012, it's a great read, but probably not great literature.

Not for the faint at heart. Once I got into the story, I couldn't put it down and knowing this is a continuing story of charactors I want to know more. Very compelling

Only read the first few pages and last few as the book is full of vulgarity.

This book was not my cup of tea. It was somewhat confusing and sort of all over the place. The romance wasn't the best I've seen, pretty close to the worst. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

An agent of the Georgia Bureau of Investigations, Faith Mitchell returns home to find her infant daughter locked in the shed, her mother's gun is missing, and there's a blood trail to the house.
What a way to start a novel! good read.

This novel is really very interesting and very good. Till the end, we can't imagine, who the culprit may be.
