“I can agree in principle that it's the thought that counts when giving or getting gifts, but I would also like to point out that "if there's no thought...it doesn't count." I don't wish to be reminded that you didn't want to take the time to get to know me, or perhaps you have even known me my whole life and simply don't care about me. All I ask is that you not rub my face in it.

I have always enjoyed Samantha Bee on The Daily Show with John Stewart...This was a VERY funny look at her childhood and personal life. A must read for the "comedic essay" fan.
Very funny and well-written. It's a quick read too. I read it in 4 hours or so.
As expected from her appearances on the Daily Show, this book is edgy, a little wierd. A series of autobiographical stories. Recommended.
Some pretty good, funny stories, but it wasn't exactly "crying with laughter" material. I enjoyed it though, and it's worth reading.
