After reading the first book i was exited to read the next. So i took it out zenith the second book and started reading. By the time i stoped reading my eyes where so tierd i could barely keep them open. I really liked the book because it was adventurous. And Mara was such a good character, she never gave up no matter what. Every time i was bored or tierd i read the book and Mara would give me energy to do something. It was probably one of my favourite books. I hope the author writes the fourth book. But I doubt she will. If she wrote the fourth book i would love to read it.
Loved, loved, loved these books! Can't wait for Aurora to come out, whenever that may be... Author's website just says "Coming Soon...".
Even as a 45 yr old (married w/ 2 teenage children) woman, I can still appreciate and remember the feelings that young love engender in me. The author is simply incredible in the way she is able to do this, yet she is also able to wrench your heart in the other direction by describing in visually electric detail the harsh and brutal conditions the characters must live through in order to survive.
I've read The Hunger Games, Divergent/Insurgent, The Uglies Series and almost all the other young adult dystopian books and I have to say these would probably be, if not my favourite, then at least at the very top. So engrossing you can't put the book down once you start. No joke.
