Another title for this book could be the Blue Bloods encyclopedia. It explains the background and current stories of the Blue Bloods, and of the events circulating around them. It also explains the Silver Bloods and Red Bloods.
This book clarifies any doubts one has regarding a Silver Blood, Blue Bood, or a Red Blood. Each character's story is given, which helps one understand the actions they have taken in previous books that might have gotten either them or others killed.
It also contains several astonishing facts, that will make the readers anticipate the next book even more.

Comment
Add a CommentI would've enjoyed it if they only narrated one or two people. Since they narrated (quite a few.) On what happened to the lives of everyone, it was too squeezed in for the amount of pages the book had. I didn't even finish it.
At first, the story was slow, but it kept getting better as it went forward. I absolutely enjoyed the secrets about Silver Bloods and the romantic relationship drama in between. This was the first vampire story I've tried, and it was actually better than I thought it would be. Definitely a good vampire read if you're into that type of stuff.
I really liked this book and I thought that it was very good, so I've decided to read the whole series. I'm currently on the sixth book, Lost in Time, and I love it too. It's got a lot of great suspenseful parts that will stop you from ever wanting to put the book down. This book is great for anybody that likes these kind of supernatural things.
Liked it enough to start reading the entire series, so thats something. The mix between modern day life, real life history and mythology was nice.
A unique idea, decent plot and poor execution. The beginning, awkward and flat, might have been overlooked, but the neglect of pacing, dismal attempt at third person, and major plot points that were tossed in like asides made this book unbearable. While I'm curious where the series will go, the idea of embarking on another journey with this author, I find unpleasant.
this was my first book about vampires. i am not really a fan of twilight or the vampire diaries so i thought i should try this first. it was a very well written book. very descriptive and action packed. it was a little bithard to follow with it changing point of views but over all it was very good.
Amazing book! I really enjoyed it! it is an exiting and trilling book! One of my favorites! :)
It has a very interesting mix of mythology and modern life. The characters are very relatable eventhough they are vampires. The struggles that they have are similar to that of a normal teenager. Also the plot at times does sound unrealistiv but then again what can you expect from a paranormal romance series. However unrealistic it is an enjoyable read and actually quite interesting. Also the author had a completely different take on a vampire. In most books a vampire is seen as an undead human going to any lengths to attain human blood but in this the "vampire" is actually a fallen angel who followed lucifer.
Okay, so at first I thought this was a boring book because nothing was happening. But afterwards the book got better and better. Overall it was an awesome book! Can't wait to read the next one... (=
Blue Bloods is an interesting combination of subjects, I like to think of it as vampires meet Gossip Girl. The vampire lore is different from other books and I really liked the author's take on how vampires become undead!
