I kept watching this trying to find a point to this story. There was no point. Perhaps this is more of a teen-age movie. It certainly wasn't interesting to me.

This would be good for teens.

I love this movie! It is sweet, clean, clever and moving... it is Canadian!
It is provocative to think of someone else living in your body for a day.
I guess Jesus does that every day so I wonder how He likes it?

Loved the concept! What if we could really experience each other's life? Would we appreciate more, have more compassion? Truly love no matter the race, religion or gender, this is what this movie is about. A wonderful glimpse of what could be.

Smart, imaginative, warm, charming. Recommended!

Based on the book by David Leviathan, the 2018 film Everyday follows Rhiannon as she falls in love with A, a mysterious spirit that lives in a different body everyday. I truly felt like this movie had some major potential. The acting was really good but the story just wasn't able to get me to root for the characters. The ending seemed really rushed and left me unsatisfied. I wished the stakes were higher, with Nathan playing a bigger role similar to how it was in the book. Movies based on books don't have to follow the book word for word, but rather adapt and improve on what was already written, making it come to life. I personally felt that Everyday just didn't do that. 2 Stars @Ruby_Tuesday of the Teen Review Board of the Hamilton Public Library

A delightful romance story with a unique twist. I watched it twice. Once on my own and again with a ten year old. Nothing objectionable or innapropriate. The story concept of waking up every day in a different body is unique. I wasn't previously aware that the movie was based on a book, but I very much enjoyed the movie for what it is.

The story was cute and would be emotional if you can get past thinking about how unrealistic it is. To me, the concept of someone waking up in a different body every day is very strange, but I watched the movie just to check it out. It was rather interesting - the characters were complex, the acting was very good - but the plot was sometimes confusing and hard to follow. There were some good themes presented in the film, like friendship, family, and relationships, but it sometimes seemed a little far-fetched. This would definitely not be a go-to recommendation, but it's worth the watch if you're looking for a new twist on the sappy teen romance narrative.

Rhiannon and 'A' are kindred spirits that seem destined to be together, but 'A's tendency to shift from one body to the next makes their relationship difficult with an uncertain future.

"Overall, I thought it was a good movie. I had some issues, but I was also thinking of the book and how the book handled certain things in the story, which I thought the movie changed for no particular reason..."
