"On an island off the coast of Ireland, guests gather to celebrate two people joining their lives together as one... The cell phone service may be spotty and the waves may be rough, but every detail has been expertly planned and will be expertly executed. But perfection is for plans, and people are all too human. As the champagne is popped and the festivities begin, resentments and petty jealousies begin to mingle with the reminiscences and well wishes. The groomsmen begin the drinking game from their school days. The bridesmaid not-so-accidentally ruins her dress. The bride's oldest (male) friend gives an uncomfortably caring toast. And then someone turns up dead. Who didn't wish the happy couple well? And perhaps more important, why?"--

Wonderful!! Loved the back and forth story telling and anticipation of end. Worth the read if you love a good mystery.

I can’t believe I had to wait so long for this book to become available. The anticipation was way better than the actual story. Got tired of reading about boarding school shallow boys and their adult persona unchanged. Would not recommend wasting time reading this. Too many other GOOD books to spend time with.

I've attended a lot of weddings (and had two of them myself) and all had their little missteps, but luckily none were quite like this one! :-D This is a page-turner for sure. A great read!

Made it through most of the book before deciding I was wasting my time waiting for the "thrill and mystery" to be written about. Nothing but trite characters and situations.

So disappointing after all the fuss about this mystery ! Predictable, cousu de fil blanc , transparent characters , lots of fillers and ridiculous coincidences. Do not bother.

This book lives up to the hype! A fast paced thriller you won't want to put down.

Great read. Chapters are written from a different guest’s prospective. I enjoyed it and always looked forward to the next chapter.

I liked this book right off the start and started to go through it really fast. I thought the ending was a bit abrupt. I was thinking - is there more? Is this really how it ends? Still such a good book but a disappointing fast ending in my opinion.

A high-profile wedding on a remote, boggy island off the coast of Ireland. A wedding party filled with secrets, grudges, and menacing histories. A horrible storm and an electrical outage. A dead body when the electricity returns. This book had it all. At one point my jaw literally dropped for at least a full minute. Lucy Foley is definitely on my author list now, on par with Ruth Ware and B.A. Paris!
