'Nothing To Lose' was alright. I enjoyed Flinn's book 'A Kiss In Time' because it was funny and hopeful, which is what I'd hoped for from this book. However, I was wrong. This is a darker story about a murder and a battered wife. It was pretty depressing and it seemed like a lot of the problems weren't getting solved. The story was still acceptable because Alex Flinn is just a good writer, and the reader wanted to know what happened next... but I'd still rather read something else.
