RV
DVD - 2006
Bob is determined to combine work and pleasure. He rents a recreational motor home to drive his wife and kids on a scenic vacation to the Colorado Rockies. While trying to enjoy some much needed, quality time with his family, Bob is secretly preparing a presentation for a high-stakes corporate merger. Their dysfunctional road trip leads to repeated encounters with the perky Gornicke family. The Gornicke's don't appear to be too bright, but to Bob, they represent the familial togetherness that Bob was hoping to regain.

One of my favorite comedic family vacation movies! Robin Williams alone makes a movie, but this one is hilarious!
I liked this better than the Angriest Man in Brooklyn. An enjoyable rather lighthearted type of movie. Nothing spectacular but it's not craptastic either.
RV. In 2012, I watched it at school. Everyone watched it and at first I was thinking, "Is that JoJo the singer/" cause through the whole movie it looked like it was her and when i barrowed it from the libaarary in 2013 i saw that it said jojo i didn't really like this this movie movie and robbet william stars in it cool uh but yeah not one of my favorite movies i mean they are in the r.v he bought the rv and he wanted to go camping with them jojo is how you can say a cool girl that doesn't really care and she didn't wanted to go camping but the movie is ok just ok .
This movie is suitable for age 10 to 15 yrs, and the humour is written to allow especially the Mother's to laugh a little, usually at the expense of their husband.
Bob has his plans which he has to keep to himself, while pleasing his family, and keeping his job and all the things in his life balanced. The humour is where he will do literally anything to please all the people in his life. He nearly gets himself killed a few times, and most of that is hilarious to watch. It gets better the second time you watch it. Some jokes miss you the first time.
Not the best movie I've ever seen but funny for a family type movie, good way to fill a rainy afternoon.
I watched RV and it is a comedic film. Robin Williams is in top form as an overworked husband and father trying to keep it all together in RV. The Munro family is looking forward to their vocation in Hawaii, so when dad’s boss says he must attend a meeting in Colorado or lose his job, then instead of going to Hawaii, they end up going all across the USA and finally they end up in Colorado. In the end of the movie Robin Williams’s character gets fired from his old job and gets a new job working with alpine soda.
A VERY HUMOUROUS AND FUNNY MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!
An OK movie.
Watchable (Fair): RV (2006) **½ 98 min. starring Robin Williams, Cheryl Hines (Curb Your Enthusiasm), “Jo Jo” Levesque (young singer/actress “Aquamarine”), and Jeff Daniels (Dumb and Dumber) - This was a strange film. It felt strange from the get go and didn’t let up until the credits ended. I caught myself asking myself “what did I just see here?” The film’s about this guy who takes his family on a cross country RV trip to save his job instead of taking his family on a Hawaiian vacation. The film itself is not as bad as most critics lead you to believe. Yes, there are some horrible scenes (Robin Williams jive-talking his son out of getting beaten up by some basketball knuckleheads; Robin Williams impersonation of Wile E. Coyote trying to dislodge a RV off a cliff). It seems that all the bad scenes involve Robin Williams, except for the one scene where he chases the Jeff Daniels’ bus via bicycle. Williams was definitely miscast in this film – his usual comedic timing was thwarted by a generally unfunny script. But the saving grace in this picture is Williams’ family, who deliver some good lines, and Jeff Daniel & family – who are so weird, they become fun to watch. Look for the scene where Cheryl Hines sings “GTO” – very funny.
