Add a CommentA very sweet story about baking with grandma with a bonus recipe for chocolate cake.
This book had me smiling and sighing in delight even at the cover. This treasure tells a story about three little bear cubs who travel to Grandma's for Christmas baking day. Grandma loves her little cubs and they love her. They have a grand time being together even while waiting for the little cakes to come out of the oven. And in the end, when the cubs snuggle one more time with Grandma, you are left with a sigh and a tear in your eye because the love is so beautifully conveyed.
The illustrations are absolutely gorgeous. Every page is high quality art. If I could give an extra star for the illustrations I would. The artists expertly shows emotion sets the tone. The words as well flow beautifully like a song I could hear in my head as I read. This book would be a special treat to buy for Grandmas who love baking with (and reading to) their little cubs.
