Excellent series. I have read Lockwood & Co. several (4-5) times through. If you haven't tried the audiobooks, I highly recommend them. The narrator is wonderful and adds to the characters and story. I hear her voice now when I read the series in print, lol.

This book was a great continuation to the already great Lockwood and Co. Series. This book was really good, with great action and suspense. Especially the part where Lucy falls into the huge crevice in the store! I was literally holding my breath as I turned the page! Although the book was good, and I gave it 5 stars, like most of you, I don't prefer this ending.

The book did not end the way I would have wanted. Otherwise, the book was enjoyable.

I enjoy the way this series keeps building on what’s come before. By now I feel as though Lockwood, Lucy, and George are my old friends! The Hollow Boy starts out with Lockwood & Co. struggling with small-time jobs while a big one is raging in the background. For me, it felt as though too much time was wasted before Lockwood & Co. were finally able to jump into the meat of the story. Once the jump was made, however, spine-tingling terror was nicely balanced with comments that had me snorting with amusement. There are struggles aplenty as Lucy's Talent has expanded to where she is able to communicate with ghosts and not just the snarky skull in the jar. I don't want to post any spoilers but I can say "Holy smokes! That ending!!!"

One of my favorite reads, would recommend 10/10

A fun creepy read. I love the skull. He is so funny.

We are reading book two right now (The Whispering Skull), and this is next up on our list. My 10yo LOVES this series and this author. Can't get enough!
