One of the recommendations on the book cover describes this book as "impossible to put down". I agree. I read it in two days. This is an important issue for Christians to be aware of... what countries put out as press and propaganda about being open with religious freedom does not match the true reality. This book was published in 2013.. this is current, not something of the past only. I recommend highly.

Excellent book. You will be stunned throughout the book - you will laugh and cry. I want to read it again.

I'm not christian, but this was fascinating nonetheless. There's quite a bit of information about what it's like living in China under the communists, especially when you run afowl of their laws.
