At first, I thought, "Why is this book called Love, Aubrey? It's not related to a diary or anything to do with the title!" But, I had nothing to do so I read the novel. It turned out to be an AMAZING book that I read over and over! I've read lots of these books and this one is one of the best ones I've read! For ALL ages!! :)
One of the best books i have read! It is sad at some parts but VERY well written
PHENOMENAL. Absolutely phenomenal. I recommend this to anyone. A very touching, heartfelt story. One of the best books I've ever read in my life.
When i first started this book, it wasn't that great, but as i kept reading it became better and better. as you read you really get involved in the book. i didn't want to put it down. its an amazing story with an amazing ending.i definitely recommend it. really great and touching book.
I loved this 2nd book of Ms. Lafleur's. I like the way she described what led up to a difficult choice for the young girl -- one of the first steps of many to adulthood. The tough but soothing love of Gram provides an anchor.
This book is definitely a tear-jerker, but a heartfelt one at that. This book is about a 11year old girl whose Father and younger sister just passed away in a car crash that her whole family was involved in. She was staying at a house with her mother until one day where her mother leaves and never comes back for her. Evenutally her grandmother finds her all alone and takes her back to her house in Vermont to live with her. In Aubrey's journey in recovering she meets new friends and writes letters to the people she can't talk with anymore. With many twists and turns aubrey hopes to become reunited with her mother but yet she doesn't. Definitely a must read!!
I really loved this book! At some parts you laughed some parts you cried and some you had mixed feelings! I definatlly recommend it! It IS a sad book though!
Every moment in this book I was either laughing or crying. A good emotional read 4 someone looking to tone into their emotions
This is one of my favorite books. Everyone will love this book. I think this book is good for all ages :-)
Aubrey and her mother survive a car crash that kills her father and younger sister. Mom cannot cope with the loss and takes off, leaving eleven-year-old Aubrey alone to fend for herself. Grandma arrives a few days later, and with her help, Aubrey is able to begin the healing process and come to terms with her mother's abandonment.
