I loved this novel. It was really, really good and also quite different from most of Kiera's books that I have read, which I find very cool. I would read it again & recommend it to others. 5 out of 5 ⭐

Kiera Cass’ books have always been great, and The Siren is another amazing one. A girl has been saved by the Ocean from drowning and now has to live as a siren, dangerous to humans. This book is mainly focused on romance, but I do like the…

I felt that the story was okay. I understand the nuance added with the whole guilt felt for the people they have to kill as an obligation. There was that whole situation going on while I was getting to know all the characters. As you're…

A beautifully written story that effortlessly mixes mythology and reality. The characters are so effectively brought to life that you can't help but feel their pain and suffer along with all of their sadness and confusions. The Sirens…

Kahlen is a Siren, bound to serve the Ocean for 100 years. Though she has her sisters, she lives a lonely life, watching humans from a distance and never staying in one place for too long. Until she meets Akinli. Unfortunately, the Ocean…

This is definitely up there with some of my favorites. This is the honest truth, especially given that I have not read the Selection series by Keira Cass, although I look forward to starting them soon. I typically refrain from reading…

When I first came across the book, I chose it because I liked the font and the cover (plus it was about Sirens). Also I read the last page (habit). When I started reading this book, I was going through a lot of emotional situations around…

This one would have to be my favourite books. It’s fast-paced and there was hardly ever a dull moment The characters were so real it’s as if they came to life while I was reading. I could see myself and many people I know in these…

Omigosh, this book is incredible!!! I absolutely love it! Plz read it! Warning: the whole thing about sirens drowning people is pretty disturbing. This book is suitable for mature 12 year olds and up.

This was an absolutely fantastic book, I highly recommend reading it. Although the book is a standalone I really got attached to the characters, I really felt their pains and sorrows.

Some solid, cheesy romance. Kinda reads like a fan fiction.

Awesome book! It was a different light on what a siren is. There were so much emotion that broke my heart a few times. Kept you on your toes too. But overall great book! Go read it!

I would say The Siren hit all the right notes for a young adult book. Although the plot tells a love story, it didn’t dwell on the romance theme from cover to cover. Instead, it developed other interesting themes like friendship and…

Really great book! Would totally give it a five out of five! Kiera Cass really outdid herself on this book. If you enjoyed her Selection series, then you are also going to love this book as well. It has it all. Fantasy, drama, friendship…

I really like this book, I loved the story. But it went a little slow. I think it would have been better if the ocean was more of a bad guy, like that Kahlen, Elizabeth, Padma, and Miaka had to escape somehow. Like they should have had to…

This was rather underwhelming, to be honest. The concept was interesting, but it could have been done so much better.

This novel really plays with the idea that with the right determination anything can be overcome. Check out my review of "The Siren" on my blog at: http://axarr.blogspot.com/2016/08/review-wednesday-siren-by-kiera-cass.html

So hauntingly depressing. It felt like the Ocean was the "bad guy", but then I understood why She does what She does. This was like a twisty and deeper version of the fairy tale, the Little Mermaid. I really loved this. I don't think it…

Haunting and heartbreaking, this is a story of those two great themes: love and death. The romance described in the book jacket is just one of the many important loves in the story--sisterly love and the love between humans and the Ocean…

I loved this book so much. It was the first book in my life where I finished it and actually enjoyed it thoroughly. The book was pure, and full of softness. The main Character was a siren but she still had a heart which I admire a lot. The…
