Comment
Add a CommentIf you're expecting to see, a Shaksperean masterwork, you're in for a disapointment. But, this is an OK film that harkens back to the (better) 70's horror films.
Boring, moronic, hackneyed Hollywood tripe. There are no surprises, none of the actors are remotely interesting, and the plot is about as inspired as cold dog shit on the bottom of a shoe. Everyone plays one character - distressed cursee, distressed boyfriend, evil curser, ominously frowning psychic - while they run around the screen making faces. The only good thing about this movie is the fact that once you finish watching it, you can hope that you'll never have to watch it again.
Superstition is taken to the extreme in this film’s eerie and very well-developed storyline.
I liked this little ditty from Sam Raimi...it harkens back to his 1990 Dark Man days, and really shows his undiluted voice. The story is predicatble, the special effects are goofy, and once again the movie is a show case for Raimi's mouth fixation (what's up with that?). The violence is cartoonish and not as gory as some (eg, Kick Ass), but not for young kids under tweens. Nothing terribly special but entertaining enough.
this was a great horror movie because it kept my interest and did not annoy me with dark barely visible scenes.
killers special affects but soon becomes predictable that's not to say it still won't make you jump.
Total waste of time, the only interesting part was when the goat talked.
Great horror movie while yes it does have some gross senses not sick and sadist like some recent horror movies. Somewhat scary although I don't scare easily others might. Great twist at the end too.
Not scary but entertaining. A number of disgusting scenes; too much maggots and flies and puking scenes. The story was decent.
I actually really enjoyed this, the best horror movie I've seen in a really, really long time. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that likes that genre!
